There
is a place on earth that sweeps you away and holds your
hand as you explore a land that has been beckoning your
name! Can you hear it? The whispers echo in your heart
as you feel drawn to a place that you know you need to
go. That place is not too far from where you are right
now, and all you have to do is fuel up the motorhome,
borrow or rent an RV if you don't have one, or rev up
your brand new truck and pull your fifth wheel a short
jaunt to God's country in Tennessee ! Even if it's a
little bit more than just a jaunt, you will thank yourself
when
you get there and see things that you before now, have
only dreamed about!
Most people stop at the word Nashville and become mesmerized
by all that it has to offer! But until you've taken this
trip using a recreational vehicle, you have missed the
greatness that went into everything that Tennessee has
to offer!
For those who are die hard fans of Elvis, a must see
is Graceland in Memphis. I can assure you that even if
you weren't a fan before you stopped here, you will be
once you leave! There were plenty of us who were fans
of the show The Dukes of Hazzard in the early 80's, and
for those of us who could never get enough, there is
a mini museum in Gatlinburg.
For those who are fascinated by unusual things, there
is a UFO House in Chattanooga, or many different mines,
caves, and State Parks. Pull up your camper or campervan
and stay for a while in the heart of Tennessee's inviting
call of nature!
Don't miss out on Dolly wood, or the Parthenon as you
mingle among each of the plentiful and exciting routes
that take you into each part of gorgeous Tennessee! Time
flies when you're having fun, and if your not careful,
you will find yourselves making plans to return before
your trip is even over!
